Planning for your mini session

Mini Sessions are a great way to get caught up on family pictures, but at a discounted price and for a shorter time. This seems to work great for younger kids (and dads).

You have scheduled a Mini Session for either Friday March 23rd or Saturday March 24th. Sessions will be held at the Lake Terrace Convention Center in the Reserve area. You will park and make your way down to the Reserve area (right side of Convention Center). You will actually walk into an outdoor area of the Convention Center to get there. Your session is 30 minutes long.

Sessions are back to back. This means, we need to start yours on time so you get your full 30 minutes! I suggest you leave earlier than you think and plan to be there at least 5 minutes early. You will probably see me with another group. You can just hang out for a few minutes and I will come get you or wave to you when it's time to start yours.

You are welcome to bring any props you like! I have a little chair, a couple of crates I bring but you are welcome to bring some things too. Suggestions are:

  • Special stuffed animal, especially a bunny since these are for Easter
  • Fresh flowers. These make great bouquets for little girls and something for them to hold.
  • A chair that is special to your family. It could be an antique chair from your childhood.
  • Quilt/Blanket. You may have a blanket that is special to you that you would like to use.

The strongest suggestion I can make is to RELAX! Enjoy the process. It's a crazy day, but it can be a lot of fun! I am so excited to work with you and your family!
